2-year Trainee for IPA

As part of my apprenticeship at Bénédict, I am doing a 2-year internship to gain practical experience. At Spektra, we customize Vertec using Python with OCL for 500+ companies. I also work with various APIs like Microsoft Graph, Abacus, and COM interfaces. Customer support is part of my daily tasks. We create and customize Word and Excel templates with Python for Vertec CRM.

Our team keeps Vertec running smoothly and ensures customer satisfaction. I will also complete the Individual Practical Work (IPA) here to earn my EFZ certificate.

August 2024 – July 2026

100% apprenticeship

After my certification as a mechanical technician (Mechanikpraktiker EBA, Q2 2021), I could have continued my career as an Automatikmonteur EFZ, but I had some doubts. I discovered my passion for IT during my first apprenticeship. Starting as a part-time catalog manager a few months after completing my EBA confirmed my decision to become a computer scientist and continue my education. Therefore, I chose Bénédict school in Zurich Altstetten. Right from the start I was enthusiastic about the IT world.

August 2022 - July 2026

30% part-time Job

Transitioning from my apprenticeship, I embarked on a quest for a part-time role in IT. Guided by my father's wisdom, I found myself at Octosoft AG, where a one-month trial paved the way for my journey. Since then, I've been an integral part of the team, specializing in the mastery of Regular Expressions. My primary focus involves streamlining vast software license data, empowering Octosoft to aid companies in the efficient management of their software licenses. Through my efforts, we mitigate both financial and legal risks associated with complex vendor agreements and license models.

November 2021 - ongoing

3-month Trainee for IPA

As part of my apprenticeship at BBI, I was required to complete a 3-month internship and fulfill the IPA (Individuelle Praktische Arbeit) requirement. I selected Caffè Iannotta in Dietikon ZH for my internship. During this period, I gained valuable experience in various aspects such as learning about different coffee strains, repairing and restoring coffee machines, and effectively communicating with customers. Additionally, I often accompanied the team on customer visits, assisting in repairs or installing new coffee machines. Furthermore, I was responsible for preparing daily orders through the webstore in our logistics lager, primarily catering to establishments like restaurants or cafés.

February 2021 - May 2021

100% apprenticeship

Following secondary school, I encountered challenges in securing a fitting apprenticeship. Eventually, I was granted a valuable opportunity: a three-year apprenticeship as a mechanical technician EBA, specializing in Electrical Assembly & Connection Technology at BBI in Zurich Altstetten. Immersed in an electronics workshop, I delved into the intricacies of cables, electricity, strands, and sockets, spanning from floor sockets of type T13 to industrial sockets of type T25, boasting 450 volts and 3 phases.
